How to calculate Zakat?

Enter the total current fiat-equivalent value of your cryptocurrency holdings (Bitcoin, Ethereum or other digital assets).

Cryptocurrency is treated as part of your zakatable wealth if held as savings or investment. If your total zakatable assets exceed the nisab threshold and have been held for one lunar year, zakat of 2.5% is due.

Because crypto prices fluctuate significantly, use the current market value on your zakat due date.
