Ramadan is the ninth month of the Hijri calendar, during which Muslims observe a strict fast (Saum) — a complete abstention from food and water during daylight hours. The exact meal times during this period are determined based on astronomical calculations and methodologies, so the schedule varies by location.

You can check the Suhoor and Iftar schedule for Ramadan, as well as the regular prayer timetable, above.

Israel, Northern District (IL), Shlomi – Prayers and Fasting During Ramadan

During Ramadan, Muslims follow not only the regular prayer schedule observed year-round but also a special meal schedule:

  • Suhoor – the pre-dawn meal before starting the daily fast.

Breakfast should be eaten while it is still dark, before the first signs of dawn. The Suhoor time in Shlomi, as indicated in the table above, is the time by which the meal should be completed.

  • Iftar – the second (final) meal of the day.

Dinner during Ramadan begins after sunset, so the Iftar time often coincides with Maghrib (the evening prayer). The schedule shows the time from which dinner can begin — but not before.

  • Taraweeh (plural of "Tarweeha") – additional night prayers performed during Ramadan, which are Sunnah (recommended but not obligatory) and take place after Isha (the night prayer).

Shlomi: Start and End of Ramadan

Since the Islamic calendar is based on lunar cycles, the start and end dates of Ramadan change annually. On this page, you can find the fasting and prayer schedule for Ramadan in Shlomi.

The times for Suhoor, Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Iftar, Isha, and Taraweeh are updated daily according to astronomical calculations for each city:

  • The Ramadan schedule for today is only available during Ramadan when Suhoor and Iftar are observed.
  • If Ramadan has not yet started or has already ended, this page will display the schedule for the next upcoming Ramadan month.

All prayers are performed facing the Kaaba (Qibla).
To check the year-round schedule for the five obligatory daily prayers, please visit the main section of Namaz.Day or use the city search feature on the website.
